About Us
The Bakken API chapter of the American Petroleum Institute is a nonprofit organization comprised of service oriented individuals who serve the local oil and gas industry, as well as the surrounding community.
Our CHAPTER
Our members are dedicated to providing a forum for the discussion of energy related issues and promoting improvement of the energy industry through education and community action.
Bakken API members are committed to developing and adhering to the highest level industry standards, protecting the environment, and leading in health and safety performance. Bakken API raises funds for scholarships, promotes education, and makes an impact in the community through donations and service where we live and work.

Bakken API hosts several events throughout the year that allows us to raise funds for scholarships and area organizations while providing our members ways to engage and network. We’ve helped raise money for organizations like Campanions for Children, Project BEE, the Minot Salvation Army and more.
